OLD BAR
Old Bar
The Mid North Coast will benefit from a new ambulance station at Old Bar under Stage 2 of the NSW Government’s $232 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program.
Following on from the success of Stage 1 of the program, the NSW Government has announced an additional $100 million to deliver upgraded, rebuilt or entirely new NSW Ambulance stations in rural and regional NSW as part of Stage 2 of the program.
The new station at Old Bar is expected to provide an enhanced working environment for local paramedics, tailored to the needs of regional and rural communities to enable paramedics to continue delivering high quality care.
The RAIR program is the single largest investment in regional NSW Ambulance’s 125-year history, with 24 new or upgraded ambulance stations already delivered or under construction as part of Stage 1 with another $100 million worth of ambulance assets being delivered under Stage 2.
