Griffith's new NSW Ambulance station getting nearer
GRIFFITH'S NEW AMBULANCE STATION GETTING nearer
Posted 06 Dec 2015
Planning is continuing on Griffith’s new $4 million NSW Ambulance station with the inaugural user group meeting at the end of November.
Meeting to discuss options for the new NSW Ambulance station, this was the first of three workshops attended by local NSW Ambulance staff.
Eager to share their ideas for the station, the Griffith user group will help develop the fit-for-purpose infrastructure.
This work will be delivered as part of the NSW Government's $122 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) Program.
User Group participant, NSW Ambulance Deputy Director of Operations for Southern Zone, Brian White, said:
“NSW Ambulance is excited to be involved in the planning phase for its future station. The new station will
create a working environment that will move Griffith Ambulance Station into the next decade.”
“The User Group is a great chance to get involved and have our say on the new station that will be built next
year.”
