Completion of main works on new Berry Ambulance Station

Today an official tour inspected the completion of main works on the new Berry Ambulance station in the lead up to the official opening still ahead.

Today’s tour will now be followed by a carefully managed fit-out and operational commissioning phase prior to the beginning of operations. An official opening will also be held at a later date to be advised.

This first station for Berry, located at North Street, will enable local NSW Ambulance paramedics to better meet the current and future patient demand for emergency medical care in Berry and surrounds.

The new Berry NSW Ambulance station includes:
  • Internal parking for up to three emergency ambulance vehicles;
  • Administration and office areas;
  • Relief accommodation;
  • Logistics and storage areas;
  • Staff parking;
  • Delivery and loading bay; and
  • External wash bay.
To date, 23 upgraded, rebuilt or new regional and rural ambulance stations have been announced under the RAIR program. This represents the biggest regional and rural transformation of NSW Ambulance infrastructure in the organisation’s history.
