YASS HOSPITAL CAMPUS TO HOUSE NEW $3.7 MILLION AMBULANCE STATION

Today it was announced that land on the Yass Hospital campus has been identified as the preferred site for the new Yass Ambulance Station.

The new station is part of the NSW Government’s $122 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration program.

Once completed, the new Yass NSW Ambulance station will include:
•    Internal parking for up to four emergency ambulance vehicles;
•    Multipurpose meeting/training room;
•    Logistics and storage areas;
•    Relief accommodation;
•    Staff parking; and
•    Deliveries and loading bay.

To date, 22 upgraded, rebuilt or new regional and rural ambulance stations have been announced under the Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration program.
