New ambulance station for Glen Innes
New ambulance station for Glen Innes
SHARE
The Glen Innes community will benefit from a brand-new ambulance station at Glen Innes Hospital, as part of the NSW Government’s $232 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration Program.
The new purpose-built facility, along with the $50 million redevelopment for the hospital, will considerably enhance healthcare for the Glen Innes community.
The co-location of the new station with Glen Innes Hospital will replace the existing station on Bourke Street.
This new station, which is due for completion in 2023, will be a welcome addition to the Glen Innes region and will provide local paramedics with a contemporary working environment and the latest equipment, ensuring they can continue to deliver high-quality emergency care to the Glen Innes community.
