NAROOMA AMBULANCE STATION

Paramedics at the Narooma Ambulance Station will benefit from modern work spaces and improved amenities under the NSW Government’s $232 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program.

The refurbishment works package will deliver an enhanced work environment for paramedics.

Station refurbishments include new roller shutters, construction of a second plant room to house all ambulance vehicles and a new ambulance wash bay, as well as an internal upgrade to the medical store.

The RAIR program is the single largest investment in regional NSW Ambulance’s 126-year history, with 24 new or upgraded ambulance stations already delivered or under construction as part of the $132 million Stage 1 program with another $100 million worth of ambulance assets being delivered under Stage 2.
