GLEN INNES AMBULANCE STATION

The Glen Innes community is set to benefit from a brand-new ambulance station at Glen Innes Hospital, as part of the NSW Government’s $232 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration Program.

The new purpose-built facility, along with the $50 million redevelopment for the hospital, will considerably enhance healthcare for the Glen Innes community.

The co-location of the new station with Glen Innes Hospital will replace the existing station on Bourke Street.

Hutchinson Builders have been engaged as the builders to complete the construction of the new ambulance station on the corner of West Avenue and Taylor Street and enabling works for the major hospital redevelopment.

The new Glen Innes Ambulance Station will feature internal parking for up to six emergency ambulance vehicles, administration, office areas and staff amenities, logistics and storage areas, staff parking and relief accommodation and an internal wash bay.

The new ambulance station will provide local paramedics with a contemporary working environment and the latest equipment, ensuring they can continue to deliver high-quality emergency care to the Glen Innes community.
