MEDOWIE Construction of Medowie’s first ambulance station is complete. The new purpose-built station on Ferodale Road was delivered as part of the NSW Government’s $232 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program. Medowie’s first ambulance station will provide local paramedics with a high-quality base and the latest facilities and equipment to meet the current and future emergency care needs of the growing Medowie community. The Medowie Ambulance Station includes internal parking for up to six emergency ambulance vehicles, staff rest facilities, administration and office areas, logistics and storage areas, an internal wash bay and staff parking. The NSW Government is committed to investing in rural and regional health infrastructure to support better health outcomes for local communities. The RAIR program ensures local NSW Ambulance paramedics have the best possible infrastructure to provide emergency medical care to meet shifting patient demographics, and better meet current and future demand for emergency medical care in regional and rural NSW.
